🧾 Wwhat is a COC?
COC stands for Certificate of Conformity.
It’s an official document issued by the manufacturer that certifies a vehicle complies with EU type approval standards — meaning it meets the technical and environmental regulations to be legally used on public roads.
It includes details like:
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
Model and variant
Engine or motor power
Emissions (if applicable)
Homologation number
Weight, dimensions, etc.
Basically, it’s the “birth certificate” that proves the vehicle is road-legal in Europe.

⚙️ How to Get a COC for a Surron
For a Surron (e.g. Light Bee, Ultra Bee, Storm Bee), it depends on the model type:
1. If it’s an “off-road” version (usually the Light Bee X):
It does not come with a COC, because it’s not homologated for road use.
These are sold as off-road electric motorcycles, so they can only be used on private land or tracks.
You cannot get a COC afterward unless the manufacturer specifically homologates that model (which they usually don’t).
2. If it’s a “road-legal” version (e.g. Light Bee L1e, Ultra Bee Road Legal):
It comes with or can be issued a COC from Surron or their official importer/distributor.
If the customer didn’t receive one, they can:
Contact the official Surron dealer or importer where they bought it.
Provide the VIN number and proof of purchase.
Request a duplicate or reissued COC.

💰 Cost of a Surron COC in Europe
If included at purchase (for road-legal models): Free
If requested later (duplicate or reissue): usually €50–€150, depending on the dealer or importer.
If it’s an off-road model: a COC cannot be obtained, no matter the cost — because the bike itself isn’t homologated for the road.
